Majestic mountain views from the back porch, and another balcony high above the river serve as a backdrop to the rock stairs connecting the house to the Frio River riverfront property. Massive oak trees and river bottom acreage allow for plenty of space for the entire family to enjoy the riverfront.

Checkout the 2nd floor upstairs game lounge with spectacular views! (good for adults to escape too as well) perfect for the kids to play games and hang out. Additionally, there is a covered deck off the lounge that is ideal for everyone to sit outside and watch the going’s-on along the Frio.

The inside has upscale rustic furnishings and the open floor plan with 30’ vaulted ceiling that are stunning. There is a spacious kitchen and the great family room has a 42” HDTV flat screen tv and full size shuffle board for entertainment.

The stylish, comfortable furnishings and large scale rooms overlook the mountain top and river views. Along the long, wide back porch are rows of rocking chairs and seating for everyone. The small Romeo & Juliet balcony looks out over the mountain and river. A covered fire pit pavilion along with horseshoe pit and stairs lead to an outdoor entertainment area of picnic tables, rock patio fire pit pavilion, BBQ area, horseshoe pit and ring toss gives everyone fun things to do. Families that stay at Hillside simply love spending time outdoors.

  This is the second time we have stayed at Longbranch for our family vacation. The location is at a great spot on the river and safe for the kids. The home is roomy with enough space for everyone to be comfortable. We will definitely book here again next year.

  We've been coming to the Frio for over 40 years and love every experience. This has become one of our absolute favorite spots. The house is wonderful and the spot on the river is nearly perfect. A swim hole for a rope swing would make it completely perfect!

  We had a great time at Long Branch with a group of 23. There was plenty of room for all of us. We've stayed at various houses in the area over the past 18 years and none have had a kitchen as well stocked as this one which was a nice surprise. The location on the river is great but it's a pretty steep walk down the stairs to the river. I would skip the towel and linen service. It was nice to not have to bring sheets but the towels were like sandpaper. The bbq pit is not pictured on the website but it's good. The horseshoe pit could use a little maintenance and we could only find one of the washer cups in the ground and it needed to be repaired. There's a nice side yard with a swing set for the kids that I also don't think was pictured. The back patio is great and it's nice that there are enough chairs on the patio so we only had to bring chairs for sitting in the river. We will definitely be back next year.
